Our Client is a dynamic business based in the North West who are now looking to expand their team by recruiting a highly pro-active Supply Planner to join their team.
In this role as Supply Planner reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager you will be required to manage the total product Supply Chain Operation from forecasting to discontinuation of products with the main focus being on customer service and achievement of stock availability targets. Responsible for your own customer base you will maintain service levels through your excellent communication skills, liaising with both, suppliers and customers as well as internal departments in order to ensure stock holding targets are constant. Adopting a highly logical approach you will interrogate any stock discrepancies and investigate through to resolution. You will also closely monitor and report any slow moving stocks so that appropriate action can be taken quickly and effectively.
To be successful in this role as Supply Planner you will have some background in Supply Chain but more important is the must have experience in stock replenishment in a fast paced environment preferably with responsibilities over a large number of SKU's. Or alternatively demonstrate very high levels of enthusiasm and a real eagerness to learn. You must also be able to work off your own initiative and be confident in your approach to work.
