Sales - Channel Manager – IT/Software / Technical Product

Have you previously built a successful International Channel network of distributors and partners?
Are you ambitious, energetic and flexible to travel globally?
Are you skilled in selling an IT software or similar technical product?

We are working with a highly innovative and ambitious company who have developed a market leading software product for their niche sector. Having moved the focus of the business in recent years away from direct selling and into Channel/Partner sales, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Distribution Channel Manager who can proactively develop, recruit and manage both new and existing Channel partners globally.
With the market well known to them there will be plenty of opportunity to learn the sector, what is important is that you have a proven background in working closely with your Channel partners to develop joint sales strategies and that you support and attend their marketing activities and supply the technical resources to facilitate training and enable them to deliver their sales targets. You will have total ownership of the distribution channel and will be the point of contact for questions and queries. You will also be responsible for building the team underneath you that will support the global strategy.
With a background in Channel Sales with a Technical or Software product this is a fantastic opportunity for somebody to really make their mark and to be integral in delivering the growth of this ambitious business. If you enjoy a large corporate environment with lots of infrastructure then this probably isn’t for you. This are an SME business with big plans for the future and are looking for somebody to be part of that journey and have fun along the way.
Remuneration on this role is circa £70k with other company benefits. This role will require overseas travel up to 50% of your time. You can be based anywhere in the UK but will need to travel to the North West Head office when required and of course to build relationships with the team.
