Our client is looking to recruit a qualified (or at least part qualified) Finance Manager for their business to help them put structure and processes into their Finance function. You will work closely with senior Finance professionals to help them understand what good looks like but will in essence be in a standalone role. This would suit somebody who is keen to develop personally but will still benefit from a strong mentor.
The role is a hands on Finance Manager positions - Responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting in this fast moving business. This includes stock management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management and developing management accounts. This role will be responsible to formalise the accounting procedures and implementing a new IT accounting system.
Your manufacturing knowledge though will enable you get stuck in to the detail so you will look at material and labour variances, analyse historical sales information to assist in the P&L and forecasting for the business. There will be detailed costings and margin analysis to conduct as well as projects to identify operational weaknesses and then recommendations and controls to improve these.
This is a very fast paced role, things change, new variables are introduced and as such you must genuinely thrive in this type of environment and be confident in the work you produce to stand by your numbers.
Remuneration on the role is circa £35k along with company benefits. The ideal candidate will be CIMA qualified. However if you are a strong management accountant with a manufacturing background then don’t be discouraged from applying if your qualifications are incomplete.Apply Now
