Our client is looking for a Factory Manager for their FMCG manufacturing site in Merseyside. They know exactly who they are looking for. Someone whose passion can fill a room, who knows what “good” looks like and has an understanding of lean manufacturing techniques.
In this role you will report to the Operations Director who is based at multiple sites. The business is in a strong position and so the focus is to improve rather than fix. You will look at the operation strategically and via a tactical approach improve the operational efficiencies. This will be by analyzing the data available and creating KPIs and implementing meaningful and measureable targets.
There are improvements in all areas such as waste, SOP’s, health & safety procedures and as such you should be skilled in influencing in all these areas
To be successful in this role you should have a strong FMCG manufacturing pedigree, be able to demonstrate high levels of business competency as well as commercial awareness. You must be able to work cross functionally with the senior management team whilst heading up Production, Engineering and Planning also the natural ability to motivate people to want to do it better than they did before. Remuneration on this position is circa £65k along with company benefits.
