Our Client is a food manufacturer who are experiencing a period of exceptional growth and as such are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner in to their business.

In this role as Supply Chain Planner you will manage the total supply chain operation from forecasting to finished product out of the factory. You will work closely with the Buyer to ensure raw material availability, expedite orders and look at forecasts to create a production plan for the factory that can then be fixed and scheduled on a daily basis.

You will be measured on fulfillment of orders and achievement of stock availability targets. You will maintain service levels through your excellent communication skills, liaising with both, suppliers and customers as well as internal departments in order to ensure stock holding targets are constant. Adopting a highly logical approach you will interrogate any stock discrepancies and investigate through to resolution. You will also closely monitor and report any slow moving stocks so that appropriate action can be taken quickly and effectively.

To be successful in this role as Supply Chain Planner you must have experience in a rounded Supply Chain position within a food or FMCG manufacturing environment preferably with responsibilities over a large number of SKU's. Or alternatively demonstrate very high levels of enthusiasm and a real eagerness to learn. You must also be able to work off your own initiative and be confident in your approach to work.
